The reason we chose this topic is that we believe political conflicts should be resolved through rational discussion, not the threat of mass extinction.
We know that since the atomic bombings in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the world has acknowledged the devastating effects of nuclear weapons. Also showing that rational conversation and diplomacy are essential.
I agree with your idea that communication should be valued over confrontation in diplomacy. However, some countries are unlikely to give up their weapons. In that case, do you think a nation can still protect itself without them?
